Turkey to Ukraine Heavy Power Transformer Transportation

Netaş Global successfully managed the multimodal transportation of 11 heavy power transformers and accompanying spare parts from Turkey to Ukraine.

The transformer units ranged in weight from 114 tonnes to 182 tonnes each, requiring specialized heavy haul planning and international project logistics throughout the operation.

In addition to the 11 transformer main units, a significant volume of transformer spare parts was also transported as part of the project. The complete cargo movement combined road and sea transportation between Turkey and Ukraine.

11 Heavy Power Transformers from Turkey to Ukraine

Power transformers weighing more than 100 tonnes require specialized transport equipment, detailed route planning and careful coordination at every stage of the logistics process.

For this project, Netaş Global coordinated the transportation of 11 power transformers with individual weights ranging from 114 to 182 tonnes.

The variation in transformer weights required project-specific transportation planning according to the characteristics of each unit and the requirements of the international route.

Transformer Spare Parts Transportation

Alongside the main transformer units, a large volume of spare parts and accompanying equipment was included within the project scope.

The project video references spare-part cargo corresponding to approximately 89 truck-size loads, adding a substantial conventional cargo flow to the heavy transformer transportation operation.

Coordinating the transformer main bodies and the accompanying spare-part shipments within the same project required integrated scheduling, transport planning and cargo management.
